Wiedemann Bohemian Special Fine Beer 12 Oz Tab Top Can

Wiedemann Bohemian Special Tab Top

The Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Company of Newport, Kentucky, established itself as a major regional brewing force along the Ohio River. Following the brewery's acquisition by the G. Heileman Brewing Company, the Newport facility continued to package the brand's long-running flagship, Wiedemann Bohemian Special Fine Beer.

This 12-ounce can displays classic Wiedemann label artwork alongside mandatory text identifying the G. Heileman Brewing Company and its Newport brewing operations. The branding highlights the long heritage of the Bohemian Special recipe, which served as a staple in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati markets.

For breweriana collectors, this can represents an era of significant consolidation in American brewing, when prominent regional labels transitioned under larger conglomerate management. Variations exist across production runs, showing subtle differences in mandatory text placement, distributor notices, and plant location credits.
