Wooden Shoe Beer Cone Top Can

Wooden Shoe Beer Cone Top Can

Produced by the Wooden Shoe Brewing Company in Minster, Ohio, this 12-ounce cone top represents a distinct label variant from the historic midwestern brewery. The brewery, which took its name from the deep Dutch and German roots of its local community, widely distributed cans bearing traditional folk imagery centered around wooden clogs.

While the vast majority of cone tops issued by the brewery feature the title "Wooden Shoe Lager Beer," this specific version omits the word "LAGER" across the primary face, presenting simply as "Wooden Shoe Beer". Among regional brewery artifacts, this non-lager variant is significantly scarcer than its lager-labeled counterparts, making it a sought-after piece for collectors focusing on Ohio brewing history and pre- and post-war regional packaging.
