Ziegler's Premium Lager Beer Cone Top Can

Ziegler's Premium Lager Beer Can

The Ziegler's Premium Lager Beer Cone Top Can was produced by the Louis Ziegler Brewing Company of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Highlighted by the company's heritage slogan "Since 1874," the container was manufactured by the Continental Can Company in a high-profile format.

Design and Collector Appeal

The can features bold graphic design with prominent typography accompanied by illustrations of traditional beer steins. Representing a classic small-town Wisconsin regional brewery, it is regarded as a marquee showpiece in the breweriana hobby. In premier collector auctions, genuine examples have achieved significant attention, frequently commanding strong five-figure sales figures.

Known Variations

Collectors recognize distinct variations of the can, primarily differentiated by color palette and regulatory labeling. Variations exist with either a crisp white background or a rich yellow background. Additionally, differences appear in mandatory alcohol text across production runs to satisfy regional distribution requirements, with versions bearing no alcohol statement and others displaying specific strength declarations such as "Strong Beer."
